Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, this year will be the first since 2006 that no-one will be cycling in the Round the Isle of Wight Randonnee for WOMA.
Nora’s husband Peter Brook, started the tradition, & after his untimely death her niece, Fran and husband James, took up the challenge. In the intervening years they have been joined at various times by Liana King, Ffion Barham and Jenny Lynch. Last year was our best year yet and we had ten people cycling for WOMA including Nora’s nephew Tom, and fellow WOMA Trustee Karen Allen.
WOMA would like to thank everyone who has given their time and energy to put themselves through this challenge on our behalf. Although the Randonnee can’t take place this year due to the lockdown, we are thinking of other ways of raising money so watch this space!
